What is trash? Started in 2019, this is an ongoing series in which I have been exploring concepts such as giving away, the notion of waste and how we assign value. Does the price of an object automatically dictate its worth?
The photographs themselves depict rearranged sculptures which consist of things no longer wanted or used as found on the street. These photographs are then transferred into the gallery space where they are temporarily hung and offered to the viewer in the same gesture (as their imagery collected on the street) to take away for free.
