Serving Art

Photographs of food and its preparation, printed on edible paper and thereby becoming an edible object themselves. As part of Gourmandise, an event series that goes beyond sound and brings together art, music, and the engagement of as many senses as possible, the images were served: visitors could actually eat the food depicted, as a form of artwork. Serving Art thus shifts the viewing of an image into a physical, sensory experience.
